Even after completing his term as chairman, David remained deeply committed to the Chamber’s mission, generously sharing his wisdom, encouragement, and support whenever it was needed. He was known for his unwavering optimism, remarkable work ethic, and the simple yet meaningful question he often asked: “What can I do to help?” Those words reflected the selfless spirit that defined his life.
David’s commitment to serving others extended far beyond the business community. He proudly dedicated 34 years to the fire service, culminating in his role as Fire Chief of the Cottekill Fire Department. His courage, professionalism, and devotion to protecting others earned him the respect and admiration of fellow firefighters and the community alike.
